Three Bodies explores the coexistence of distinct structures within a shared field of movement. Three dense chromatic forms—blue, orange, and green—occupy separate areas of the composition, while an extensive network of trajectories, impacts, and splashes extends across and between them.
Although each body preserves its own chromatic identity, none exists in complete isolation. Repeated actions gradually create a common environment in which individual trajectories cross boundaries and establish visual relationships between otherwise independent forms.
Created during an early stage of Juggling Painting, the work reflects an emerging interest in the relationship between individuality and connection. Rather than constructing these relationships through predetermined lines, they arise through the accumulation of physical events on the canvas. Three Bodies anticipates a question that would become increasingly important in later works: how independent elements can coexist, interact, and eventually become part of a larger system.
