Espirales belongs to an early stage in the development of Juggling Painting, when the possibilities of movement as a pictorial tool were still being explored. Working with a deliberately restricted palette of blues, black, and white, the composition develops through rotational gestures, repeated impacts, and overlapping trajectories that expand from and return toward the center.

Rather than depicting a spiral, the work investigates how circular movement can organize pigment directly on the canvas. Repetition gradually transforms individual gestures into a dense structure, revealing an early interest in one of the central ideas that would later define Juggling Painting: the possibility of constructing complex images through the accumulation of simple physical actions.
