Spatial Landscapes

Spatial Landscapes explores the construction of pictorial space through movement rather than perspective. Instead of depicting recognizable landscapes, these paintings generate environments in which depth emerges from the accumulation of gestures, layers of pigment, and the physical trajectories that shape the image.

Created using the Juggling Painting technique, each work records a sequence of actions in which movement, gravity, rhythm, and chance interact to produce shifting visual territories. Dense areas coexist with open spaces, creating a dynamic balance that invites the viewer’s eye to travel through the painting without a predetermined path.

The series proposes a different understanding of landscape—not as the representation of a place, but as an experience that emerges from the relationship between body, movement, and matter. Space becomes something constructed through action, where physical processes replace conventional perspective as the primary tool for creating depth.
